Allied Endodontics utilizes the latest technology to service our patients

Most times, endodontic treatment can be done the same day as the consultation. If you are experiencing any pain, treatment can be instituted immediately. Be assured that our doctors will stay in touch with your referring dentist at all times.

Technology

Operative Microscopes

The Microscope provides 400 times more visual accuracy than the naked eye and 100 times the visual information than traditional dental loupes. Magnification improves accuracy of tooth preparations and margins preventing damage to adjacent teeth and connective tissue during all kinds of dental operations and surgery.
Technology

Cone Beam Computer Tomography (CBCT) 3D Imaging

Cone-beam computed tomography systems (CBCT) are a variation of traditional computed tomography (CT) systems. The CBCT systems used by dental professionals rotate around the patient, capturing data using a cone-shaped X-ray beam. These data are used to reconstruct a three-dimensional (3D) image of the following regions of the patient’s anatomy: dental (teeth); oral and maxillofacial region (mouth, jaw, and neck); and ears, nose, and throat (“ENT”).

Apex Locators. Electronic Canal Length Determination

An electronic apex locator is an electronic device used in endodontics determine the position of the apical constriction and thus determine the length of the root canal space. The apex of the root has a specific resistance to electrical current, and this is measured using a pair of electrodes typically hooked into the lip and attached to an endodontic file.

The electronic principle is relatively simple and is based on electrical resistance; when a circuit is complete (tissue is contacted by the tip of the file), resistance decreases markedly and current suddenly begins to flow. Various devices signal this event by a beep, a buzz, a flashing light, digital readouts, or a pointer on a dial.

Enhanced Irrigation Technologies for Minimally Invasive Procedures. GentleWave® Procedure.

The GentleWave® Procedure is an alternative to standard root canal treatment. This minimally invasive alternative utilizes fluid dynamics and broad spectrum acoustic energy to clean and disinfect the root canal system. The GentleWave® Procedure has been described as more comfortable than standard root canal treatment.
